and no, it’s not because they prefer the men. they don’t expect them to be competitive. after all, their assigned sex at birth was female.

fascists cannot deal with the fact transgender women not only reject their assigned male indentity. they prove it is not an immutable commodity you get with an appendage.

they prove being a bro is nothing special.

@blogdiva To be fair female-to-male athletes simply can't compete on par with CIS male athletes because fundamentally cismales are physically stronger and bigger than their ftm counterparts. It is not a social construct but biological reality. It is sloppy argument from your side. You would need some serious bone shedding and massive muscle reduction to be able to bring down a male's competitive advantage in female sports.

@FrancoisVanWitbank You aren’t being fair, you’re just spouting gender critical propaganda. One of the reasons tennis was segregated is that the best women were beating less-than-best men. This was seen as a threat to the misconception about gendered bodies exactly as you stated it, so segregation was introduced by men to enforce this lie against a more nuanced reality.

That the strongest man will probably be stronger than the strongest woman doesn’t mean all men are stronger than all women, and yet this is what the IOC, several sporting bodies, and you have chosen to believe and unjustly enforce.

If this was somehow a problem, then over the last 20 years women’s Olympic sport would have been swamped by winning trans women. It hasn’t - so all the theorizing amounts to a bunch of post-hoc handwaving justification for prejudice. There is solid experimental evidence that trans women begin to lose whatever edge they may have had only months into HRT.

It’s straight up bigotry.
