the people united shall never be defeated

a documentary about a local community standing up against a hostile immigration raid carried out against their neighbours that also showcases some of Glasgow’s long history of grassroots resistance against state oppression. Fantastic film, I’m so glad it was made, I cried and cried and I have never loved the city I live in more than I do now

There is so much good in the world, humans are so innately loving, and everyday people have so much power they can tap into once they are connected to their community and actively working to show solidarity, and this film demonstrates it gloriously

Absolutely. Most people ARE good, it's unfortunate that we mostly hear about the awful ones, who are so often in power in one way or another.
I will try and see the film, we need more stuff like this.
