Can an app’s privacy be performance? Try this quick UX check for real signals vs theatre:

1) Discoverability — are privacy settings one tap away or hidden across menus? If hidden, it’s not designed for users.
2) Toggle illusions — does a switch disable surface features but keep the data pipeline? That’s optics, not control.
3) Silent partners — one-line consent screens that don’t name partners or SDKs are a red flag.
