@luc0x61 @foone Sounds awesome… I’ve been interviewing lately, and most companies scale their pay for the location you live for remote work though. I have certainly considered the “digital nomad” approach though, but not with any amount of serious consideration.

@luc0x61 @foone However in Europe you don’t need to pay for your healthcare, get good sick leave and annual leave, and have a lot better employment rights.

(Plus, tongue in cheek you also get measurements in metric, temperature in Celsius and power at 240 volts 😉)

But we have 230V +/-10% 😅
When I was younger it was 220V on single phase, 380V on three. Standard changed in the 90s.

And besides, it wouldn't be safe right now travelling to the US, even for a short vacation.
