Gloriannie was fascinated by the girl who got off the bus at the Benton stop. She wore pink headphones & radiated an inner calm that Gloriannie yearned for.

Gloriannie made a #concerted effort to catch the girl's eye, & finally one day it happened. The girl slipped her headphones off & looked at Gloriannie questioningly.

"I-I was wondering what you listen to" Gloriannie stuttered. The girl smiled & put the headphones on Gloriannie. "They're noise cancelling," she said.
