i find it funny how people insist they hate dandelions and then create the exact perfect conditions for dandelions to grow. dandelions can't grow in forest or meadows, they get outcompeted by other plant species that grow taller than dandelions do. they specifically thrive in recently disturbed environments. they are good at calling first dibs on recently cleared soil, but they are not good at maintaining their hold when other plants eventually come around.

"i need to use poison to kill the dandelions in my lawn" have you tried simply not creating their preferred growing conditions in the first place
