@climatenewsnow . . . but Iowa was supposed to be that farmers’ paradise, that place where corn could grow forever and a day. It had fertile soil that the Indians didn’t appreciate. We had to push those Natives out so white farmers could make the land “productive.” The price of colonial “productivity.”
