I'm on my yearly hunt for a QuickBooks SimpleStart 2009 replacement. Once again I'm finding nothing practical for my 2-4 yearly uses of QuickBooks. I think the cheapest option is $40 a month, which is insane for how little I use (and how even less I want to use) this stuff.

@paul 1. Download https://github.com/insidegui/VirtualBuddy
2. Install OSX version of choice.
3. Install quickbooks trial version of choice and import your files, do your work.
4. File taxes/whatever. Save updated files.
5. Profit?
