Does ANYONE know what the mysterious "very valuable" present that Trump claimed Iranian negotiators sent him was yet?
The best theory I've heard is Iran let some boats through and maybe someone told Trump this was a "gift" or show of good will for him when it was not?

Yeah that makes sense. Just a big 'ol bribe and it "showed up" in one of his offshores and he was impressed that he was talking to someone important?

Interesting idea that the "someone" might be say Pakistan, someone who wants to see the talks succeed. Slip the money to him, make it sound like it is indirectly from Iran, wink-wink.
Iran continues to protest and demand, but now he understands that wink-wink they really are ready to settle. He declares victory yet again and brings the troops home.

Very easy to social engineer someone with that much power and just... a regular phone number.
