Okay hive mind. Is there anyone here who has successfully contacted #Glidance and received a response? I wrote two months ago and haven't heard a word back. Figured I'd ask you guys while I was waiting on a response to my second inquiry into this matter, sent just today. I pre-ordered a unit and 4-yr sub in July of 2024 and have since both moved and changed my name. Are these people actually responding to inquiries like they claim? I'm rather upset, as it looks like my sighted roommate, who resides in Utah where I used to live, will be receiving my Glide in the mail. I have no way at this point of ensuring that I can get it shipped to my present location in Canada. And due to their refund policy, well... if I can't change my shipping address and have it shipped to where I am, I won't be able to use it for the 30 days their refund policy requires. Soooooo! Thoughts would be most appreciated at this point. I really don't want to have to file a CC dispute at this point, as the few disputes I have had to file have never been successful. Thoughts welcome. Just a quick update on this thread. #Glidance has gotten back with me and told me they have updated my information. They also said they would be reaching out to those of us who have pre-ordered to collect shipping information. I've decided I'm going to let it come in rather than getting a refund at this point, as their refund policy, odd as it is, requires you use the unit for 30 days before doing anything along those lines. Still excited about it honestly, despite the concerns people have tossed around. We'll see how it goes in any case. Thanks to those who responded.
@silveraura7 A friend whose opinion I trust tried it at cSun this year, and was very impressed compared to trying it a year earlier.
@VE3RWJ Really now? That's actually quite intriguing. Did he happen to tell you anything specific? Post anything anywhere? I'd love to hear his experience. Or anyone's really. I've seen some testimonial type things, but that's about it really. The concerns of people are trying tou overwhelm the more positive views at present.

@VE3RWJ I honestly don't either... Well no, that's not exactly true. I didn't when I pre-ordered. I wanted to though. Thought Glide might help me not feel quite so anxious when out and about with the feedback and stuff. Kinda like having a sighted guide with you, but one that just... doesn't talk much LOL. I walk a lot more now though. My husband and I don't have a car but go everywhere together. Not far mind, but I've been out waaaaaay more since moving in any case. So I'm finding myself more curious to see how it all works.
