Imagine this: The Trump administration creates an AI "FBI agent" assigned just to you. Its only job is to watch you. It can read your texts, watch where you go, track what you buy, monitor your social media accounts...and report any "suspicious" behavior.
Scary, right? Well, thanks to Elon Musk and Sam Altman, it could already be happening. A few weeks ago, the AI company Anthropic refused to allow the Trump administration to use its tools to spy on Americans and build killer robots.
So the Trump administration teamed up with Elon's xAI and Sam Altman's OpenAI. Now the administration has the tools it needs to create a dystopian Big Brother run by techbro billionaires. But we have a critical opportunity to block them.
Congress needs to reauthorize Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). Trump wants to reauthorize Section 702 without changes. If Congress reauthorizes Section 702 without major changes, Trump will be able to run warrantless mass surveillance powered by AI bots.
It's not an "if" the do it, it's a "when." Kash Patel already admitted under oath that the FBI is using the existing loopholes in Section 702 to buy location data to track Americans. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...

Congressman Jim Himes claims a sweeping surveillance authority should stay intact because he hasn't seen abuses by Kash Patel's FBI, according to internal messaging obtained by WIRED.

But there's growing opposition to the surveillance state, and a bipartisan coalition has put forward the Government Surveillance Reform Act. This bill has support from groups on the left and right, including the ACLU, the Brennan Center for Justice, and Muslim Advocates.
If we don't act, we enter an era when Chatbots powered by "MechaHitler" can scan your entire life, all the data available about you, and determine whether or not you're a "threat." Send a letter NOW and demand your elected officials act to stop it: actionnetwork.org/letters/stop...
