I implore software developers to
PLEASE
USE
your OWN FUCKING SOFTWARE
before forcing it on others
especially when you make major changes to the interface, or add stuff to the interface
and also developers who don't consider accessibility need to be given the access problem until they understand the issue with the shit they're making
Symphonic's upload UX was bad but tolerable, but a few days ago they rolled out an "update" where there are now dozens more microcategories for instruments, production roles, etc., and the interface to actually select them is *abysmal*
It was fine when there were broad strokes but now it's just a fucking nightmare and it's like nobody ever tried actually using it before they pushed it out
