I do like it when companies do actual user studies, ask about pain points, ask what new features user want, etc. Setting up nice transparent feedback channels help too. It can pay off to go a companies subreddit(s) to see what users want. Back in the day Twitter was useful for tracking sentiment.
Smaller orgs tend to have an open to the public Discord or Slack setup as feedback channels. As an app dev, I like it when users and employees can all provide easy #feedback in app. #RageShake etc www.reddit.com/r/technology...
