Marco Barrios@atpfm @marcoarment I have transition glasses, which are completely clear and transition very quickly, perhaps within a minute. My problem is that they transition whenever there is little bit of sunshine, even in winter, and they just look very silly when they are dark. I also have prescription sunglasses and prefer them, but obviously then I need to carry two pair of glasses.
Reid@marcobarrios @atpfm @marcoarment isn't wrong though, there's a reason only a tiny fraction of people use transitions glasses. I tried them once. I didn't really mind the slowness or find that they "weren't clear enough", but the never get dark enough. They're just bad sunglasses. So intead I have like 6 pairs of eyeglasses and 4 pairs of prescription sunglasses. (thankfully my prescription hasn't changed much over the years).
