@JeniParsons I fail to understand why all councils do such jiggery pokery.
In my mind, it would simpler that for every bank holiday (Easter taking 2) you shift the collection day back a day. So if your day is currently Friday, it'll shift to Tuesday from now on until the next bank holiday when it'll then shift to Wednesday.

@Simon_M @JeniParsons We used to do that. Now they collect on bank holidays as normal to prevent this sort of thing. (Except in December - when its chaos)

Given the average member of the public's inability to get it right when it's regular, this would bamboozle them to death!

(I worked in the recycling collecting sector for a while, so I am a little jaded on the abilities of the general public.😉 )
