J—dVI have for a while been a bit bummed that I would never get to see Angelus Novus in person. As a child I lived right next to the Israel Museum and went frequently, but of course I didn't know about @WalterBenjamin. And now there is no way am I setting foot in Israel again—barring some fundamental, and sadly increasingly unlikely, changes. And now this! Well, I guess at least I don't have to be tempted to go visit the U.S.?
