OK, so it would appear that iTunes has taken away the ability to connect to mobile devices such as an iPhone in the latest versions. That being said, anyone have any tips for successfully sideloading an IPA file onto iOS in 2026? No, I am not in the EU. :D
@Bri You'd need the apple devices app from the MS store, I believe these days. Not sure if you can still sideload with it,
@klittle667 I tried that, and both AltStore and Sideloadly were yelling that they couldn't find the apple mobile device support stuff.
@Bri You do have the mobile device driver installed don’t you? I don’t think iTunes and the store apps like coexisting
@klittle667 I tried the iTunes one and the apple devices one.
@Bri Strange. Does your device show up in either? Usually if you just do winget install --id=Apple.AppleMobileDeviceSupport -e that's enough
@klittle667 I did not actually know you could do that. However, I did end up getting it to work :)
@Bri Yeah apple used to bundle all that shit with iTunes but sometimes it just doesn't anymore.
@klittle667 nods. This time I got lucky
