Listen and weep

"We let you into our homes when your own countries tried to murder you and everyone else turned you away. We fed you and we clothed you. We gave you shelter. And we shared from the bounty of our land with you. And when the time was ripe, you kicked us out of our homes and homeland."

@dbattistella Regardless of whether she is saying the right things on this topic, that is Candace Owens: a far-right conspiracy theorist. This is the person who called Black Lives Matter a hate group. Do be careful with her stuff.

Why Palestine Supporters should not platform Candace Owens and why they don't 'not need Shaun King’

@aral @dbattistella I will just add that in mandate era Palestine Palestinians had no say on immigration, which was already severely restricted by the British during WWII. There are some stories of immigrants housed in Palestinian homes which were deserted by their inhabitants following Zionist violence, massacre etc. And preventing Palestinians from returning to their homes and lands is very well documented too . I’m less familiar with initiatives similar to what’s described in the video, though there’s evidence of Muslims in North Africa and elsewhere helping refugees from Europe during WWII. I would love to see records regarding Palestine, especially oral history which would possibly be the most relevant source.
