In #macOSTahoe 26.4, Apple Music got a few little tweaks. One of them, when you scrub the track, the timestamps and track now animate.

The other is that you now get a full-screen now playing within the window when you click the artwork image. Oh look, a proper volume slider. lol #macOSTahoe #AppleMusic
@marioguzman Are you also becoming optimistic when you see the progress? I’ve seen some mire details getting fixed and it’s given me a lot of hope.
@jirirbr No, I personally think that Liquid Glass is fundamentally flawed. They could fix all the bugs but the very nature of Liquid Glass is the antithesis of usable UI and UX that works for the majority of people.
@marioguzman that just looks like lag. (I realise it’s not, as you’re clicking, but it’s a perception.)

@octothorpe @marioguzman Well, in theory every animation *is* a “lag” in visual state representation. The question is: does the time spent for transition help you in any way, and is the duration balanced?

And perception is all that matters, as we consume this with eyeballs.

@marioguzman do the play/pause and next/previous buttons have hover or mouse down states? I realized the other day in 26.3 they didn’t and couldn’t believe it.
