This one is a cut above most of the ollogies! The person being interviewed started out on a bobcat study. They had to recapture the bobcats to change the batteries on the trackers. They used box traps. Raw meat on the inside and nearby on the outside they would hang a CD on a line at bobcat height.
Like all cats, bobcats cannot resist shiny flashy things. It would help pull them in close enough so that the smell of the bait would pull them in the rest of the way.
