Yet another UBI experiment? Great for the participants. But we already know it works. It’s been proven before; there is no objective wiggle room.

At this point, it seems like it’s about convincing yet another group of conservatives that “the pain is point” is, indeed, universally harmful and inhumane. 😔

Universal Basic Income is a proposed government scheme to give all citizens equal income.

This is direct cash transfers targeted to the poorest people in the world. Transferring cash from people who might earn over €10 an hour to people who earn less than one a day. It’s an alternative to in-kind charity models (e.g. an NGO building wells or distributing vaccines or food)
