I was hoping to be able to participate in Saturday's #NoKings Rally locally. Sadly, my knee rehab is not progressing as I’d hoped it would, so I’ll be cheering from the sidelines.

My wife will drive me past the demonstration in Smyrna and we will toot the horn gleefully, smile, and give thumbs up to the many people exercising their rights to protest non violently.

Hey, it's cool. Should be solid fun in itself as a super show of necessary solidarity.
I guess it'll take a while to get back to normalcy on such a vital joint doing so much for the body and its weight.
Take care, take it easy and follow the 'rigmaroles' diligently, Scott.
All the best. ✌️😎
@jswright61 Ahhh…should have read further. Ignore my previous comment 😏 Sorry things aren’t progressing as you’d hoped. Glad you’ll be able to lend your voice anyway! 🍻
@jswright61 I feel like the honking cars are just as valuable as the rest of the group out there protesting! Sorry your knee isn't cooperating.

@jswright61

A colleague is in a similar place; They were planning to join on Saturday, but sprained their ankle last night. Healing is more important, you can be there for the next one (as I expect we'll have/need more of these, still).

It's too bad your knee is still giving you trouble. Fortunately, you can show your support by driving there. 'Fight' (non violent ofcourse) to preserve your democracy.
