Damned #Proxmox doesn't have local disk live migrations enabled by default in newest versions.

And I took that personally

@madargon
I've seen some people say that #Incus is close to being a replacement for them, though I didn't look at it in detail. May be worth having a look?

@viq @madargon

+1, incus is very nice, I use it to manage containers and VMs

but true wizards use pure quemu for VMs & chroot for containers :P

@madargon I'd take it personal too.
@madargon Still better than “dump and try to recreate in different technology” from few years ago.

@madargon What exactly do you mean? Moving a virtual disk to another storage or live migrating a VM with local storage to another node?

Both should work. If they don't, more details would be good to know to help. E.g. are there snapshots? What kind of storage types are involved?

@aaronlauterer I mean live migration VM with drives in local storage to another node, using GUI. It worked before today cluster update to 9.1.6. Now attempts to do it end with error about --with-local-disks option needed. I guess earlier versions had it enabled so it worked that way, it only showed warning message about long time when moving local disk.
@madargon hmm, works fine in my cluster. Did you do a full reload of the web UI after the update?
Any community scripts installed that might modify something on the host or UI?
