Just now I had migration issues in #atuin, maybe caused by needing to do a hard reboot after systemd wouldn't restart after a #nix-rebuild....

Oh, which I probably made worse with following instructions that are old, but did clearly have "don't do this any more", but who reads past the instruction that is meant to fix your situation....

But blow the database away and resync, that is part of the appeal of distributed systems :)

@LovesTha oh ooof! which instructions did you follow? Will try and make sure it's clearer how to resolve things

@ellie the instructions were clear, but I don't read past the first instruction before doing it. So where you've edited "don't do this after version X" after the instruction is too late, I've already done it.

I wouldn't want the old instruction deleted, but warning first has at least a 50% chance of me not doing the wrong thing.

I've closed all my tabs searching for this, but if think it was all in the issues of people hitting a migration not being in the migration table and to do an rm....*
