@rfc1036 GECOS already asked for your office number, your phone and your office phone. I like the idea of extending that to include other things. Though I thing some "reserved" tags and then free-form tags would be a way forward. The office number field in GECOS made sense when UNIX systems were only in universities and companies for example. Not so much now. And as long as none of the tags are required, it's all good.
