Occasionally Apple’s algorithms on my iphone/ipad show me how outside the norm my life is.

Today the Memories widget on my iPad came up with an auto-generated video called “World Trip Jan-Feb 2026”

And I’m sitting here thinking: World? But it was only 3 countries! And it didn’t even cover the other two countries I travelled to in February! Or the fact I travelled through France!

And then I realise my concept of travel is a little skewed.

@moof I've seen something similar on booking.com, where I've booked 3 consecutive nights in different countries. After the first and second countries it showed the country name(s), but after the third it defaulted to "Europe". Whilst obviously not inaccurate, there was a recognised subdivision that would have narrowed it somewhat (i.e. Baltics). Maybe I'm expecting too much?
