I hate interviewing so I just want to take the first thing that comes my way and not interview further but I also promised myself never to do take home assignments as they are objectively a red flag so I'm torn

@boreq Actually they're a pretty big *green* flag now, assuming they are relatively easy and short - it means they either aren't assuming everyone is using LLMs to answer them, or are ok with people that do.

The inverse is much worse. Super intense live code tests trying to detect if you're using any form of LLM.

@jonty the problem is I get nothing out of it, don't meet the team, and the work is thrown out, and it takes 4h while my code is on github

@boreq @jonty ah right the phone screen that doesn't actually give you any opportunity to ask questions. And their 4h actually means 8 h. So yeah. Not a great flag.
