Train of thought
@AzulCrescent It's also a train of thought because of the carriages that lead into eachother! One thought leads to the next and so on
@lenarena @AzulCrescent
This is how I've always imagined it, and if one link gets interrupted, you lose the whole rest of the train!
@AzulCrescent It's one of the most apt English phrases! You illustrated it really well, too
@AzulCrescent Looking at the reliability of train services here, I find the expression a perfect fit, too.

@AzulCrescent In French, we say “fil des pensées” (thread of thoughts).

It’s nice to see mini-Azul again! ^^

@TritTriton
In German it’s “Gedankenkette” – chain of thoughts
@AzulCrescent
@AzulCrescent in this situation, you could also say the train of thought got derailed, which is a common joke when your attention got diverted and you can't remember what you were thinking about. :-)
@AzulCrescent the number of times I've had to wait my turn to talk only to forget what I was going to say is very large to the point where if I had a penny or for every time it happened in the last decade I would probably have enough to put a decent dent in this month's rent
@AzulCrescent
These are so great, always whish I could boost them too, but I still love them!
