I sometimes feel it is an inherent, unsurmountable problem in #orienteering that it is a sport that attracts individualists but would heavily rely on cooperation to avoid overtaxing and burnout in those who commit themselves to the sport beyond mere participation in competitions. Is this only because we are far from reaching a critical mass where things start getting easier?
