Christians culturally appropriate almost everything so they can have their own sandbox version that is compatible (or more accurately, that they can control) with their beliefs.

@amorablackrose Eh, I'm an atheist. If people want to explore their faith via a particular musical style, that's fine by me, it's all fictional. Your Life On Hold's Buddhist stuff doesn't bother me, so a Christian band's wouldn't either.

@crinolinerobot yep. Each to their own. We each come to our understanding/beliefs(or lack thereof), in our own way, and in our own time. As long as people aren't trying to convince others that their way is the "only right way", live and let live etc. One person's fiction is another person's reality.
