@ellane I was reading a short story by Fernando Sabino and he mentioned the title of one of his books that was translated to English. I looked for it online and found it on the Internet Archive. This is one of his most important books, but it takes place many, many decades ago and has several references to Brazilian culture and regionalisms, some foreign even to me. I'm now intrigued by the existence of this transition and may read at some point 😊
