@mathowie Zune seems like a wonderful success in comparison.
But I guess E.T. for the Atari 2600 (a more apt comparison) doesn't work as a company name.
@MsHearthWitch @mathowie I haven't used a Zune (once upon the time I had a Creative Zen) but as I understand it wasn't a particularly bad product. Microsoft just waited to get into the mp3 player space until shortly before the first iPhone released.
Probably a bit late for that.
@mathowie omg. Zune... when Zune launched Microsoft was our client. We all used iPods at the time at the firm where I worked and we were told to *not* bring any Apple products to campus because msft didn't like it.
SooooOoooo, the owner of the firm thought it'd be a great idea to get us all Zunes! Except, that they were ugly, not as easy to use *and* if you were also running Windows Vista while trying to burn music onto the Zune...
If you know, you know... lol
@mathowie Or RIM changing their name to Blackberr- oh.
JK for real the BBs with full keyboard were the Business. But when they tried to go full touchscreen... Yikes.
It might become the Blackberry of Blackberries or the DeLorean of DeLoreans.
