Welcome to Thursday 🌈🦄

We saw Deer in the field at the back Mum's on our visit yesterday!
We treated ourselves to lunch at a new place after the visit, it was very enjoyable and I think we shall have to make a return visit.
After that we hunkered down trying to keep warm, the day was horrible 🥶🥶

Going to book club this afternoon, a few of us are going to meet for lunch first 🤗 I'm interested to hear what others thought of the book!!

We read Theo of Golden by Allen Levi, a very enjoyable uplifting read!
I recommend!

That sounds interesting, I shall have to find a copy. I must rejoin the library. I've been reading the Promises To Keep series by Shayne Parkinson, set in pre first world New Zealand, which i have really enjoyed. If you'd like something lighter to read I recommend The Widow's Wine Club by our local author, Julia Jarman

Excellent! We have warning signs for deer around us but in 28 years we haven’t seen any!

It was a nasty day weather wise yesterday but today seems to be a lot nicer, certainy sunnier this morning!

Lunch out with friends is a great addition to the book club meeting. I’m envious.

We’ll be over 70F / 21C here today so I’m going to spent most of it outside, neatening up the garden.

Good only-just-no-longer-morning!

Sounds like an excellent plan for the day.

Around these parts we are up to our necks in muntjac, usually feeding on grass verges adjacent to fastish roads, occasionally in our garden eating vegetation. We'll often see a dozen in a half hour drive, now the Prince Phillip is no longer around to mow them down...

@DoubleTreble Morning DT. At least it’s not raining or snowing or sleeting or wildly windy today, just dull and quiet. We are off for an overnight in Dunalk as OH is one of a trio to judge their local clubs end of year competition for their best photographer. It will be a very interesting evening, with other 300 images to consider. How wonderful to see deer in the field yesterday too! 💖
