Okay, this is what I mean when I say I don't necessarily trust automatic blood pressure cuffs.

141/127, 108/76; there was almost literally no time in between these readings.

Yeah, I'm sure I had a completely asymptomatic stroke and then fully recovered from it in under 30s.

@the I refuse them outright & have for over a decade because with them I either get high blood pressure 200/100 or error messages outright (saying I've got none) and manual cuffs I get somewhere between 105/60 (I'm calm & having a low pain & low neuropathy day) & 130/90 (I'm exasperated, my pain & neuropathy levels high).

Nurses/Dr's & technicians can either get & use a manual cuff or they won't get a reading from me at all during visits to Dr's offices, it's that simple.

*They often get rather grouchy about this but that just makes me glad to refuse & insist, because I dont take anything nor have any medical conditions requiring blood pressure monitoring, so if they don't get the reading it's not my committing any self harm nor endangerment.
