Good morning folks
*sees thing*
hrm. Do I need to have an opinion(tm) on this?
*looks at (empty) coffee cup*
... No.

Wait.

Fucking KJ Parker released a book in January and google books didn't tell me?

YOINK

My brain is suddenly screaming 'What if we ran an L5R campaign with pregens where one player has an expanding staff, one has a rake and magic, one is a monk, and the other has a spade? And they have to leave Rokugan to retrieve something... From The West

Listening to Elf for what, I think, is the first time?

It feels... early. Which, of course, it is.

Prentice Wood sounds ok, but also sounds like a bit of nothing? Dio's vocals are good and it kind of just grooves along - but I just listened to it five seconds ago and could NOT tell you what the lyrics were?
Some of it actually feels... not quite like written-for-advert jingles, but they could definitely be used for adverts.

I've moaned about this lots before, but the shift from 'put on a cd' to 'put on a playlist' to 'select a song and it (the algorithm) just... goes' means that I don't even really make decisions about what I listen to, anymore, beyond that first click.

Which means, two hours later, I don't *remember* any of it?

I'm sitting here, like 'bored - let's get something else', and my brain is just idling in neutral, trying to remember what I *listen* to? Like.... I just kinda can't?

This is one of the real, subtle things about over-supply and constant-stream of content for me. It means nothing is a decision, really, anymore.

@DarkestKale a parcel left at their local DHL depot, just one continent to the left.
