Matt RoundiPhone age verification doesn’t consider my Apple account created in 2009 to be old enough to trust, it doesn’t accept passport & I don’t have a credit card, so I’m now age-restricted 🤷♂️

Leanne J@sil @mattround isn’t this because of the (half baked) age verification legislation though? Which definitely should have been more thought out. Parts of the govt who support a national ID card idea (no thanks) will use this as argument for why we should have one.
Years ago I had a venue in San Francisco ask “what is this?” when I presented my passport as ID. I said “it’s a British passport, U.S. Immigration seems to think it’s good enough to get in your country” 😂
