The MTA made their mobile app both better and worse.

Simpler UI? That's great.

The fact that the trip planner is a fucking webpage, and not in app.

Bullshit. Now I have to be at a stop with internet connection on the subway to load in my trip.

The app lags every time I open it up, I don't see the map view showcasing which stops and travel path. I just get a crappy unstylish unapologetically obvious "we didn't finish" webpage.

How could they pull off such a downgrade of a navigation app.

@doomsdayrs I feel like it should often be a requirement that the developers use their product in the field regularly. Like a cop is required to be tased before they're given a taser. Get your ass on that train and see how you like it!
