I have officially reached the chapter in my life where "I could go for some ice cream" ends up with me in a major supermarket, wearing a bear suit, with my partner acting like this is a perfectly normal Alice behavior, as we stock our basket with berries and ice cream.

Now, normally people stop me *everywhere* to compliment my outfits...

No one said a word, or even did a double-take.

This bear suit is like an invisibility cloak 😯

It's kinda amazing.

@alice I have the opposite affect when I bring my cat along when I have to shop. I feel like I'm breaking the mold and causing normal NPCs to break character in order to interact with another human carrying something they don't see often. Most people still ignore me, but sometimes I get to interact with other humans. Case and point, I met a fellow Legend of Zelda admirer, just due to wearing a silly Zelda hat. Then they noticed the cat in the backpack. I like breaking someone out of the mundane.
