[Not my video, just an interesting look at Albany and Munich]

While I understand the video in principle, I’d like to add that there are far better example than Munich. Munich is host to one of the most important automotive fair, besides obviously being a industrial cluster for brands such as BMW. It’s definitely a pro car city.
Oh no doubt. That’s just where this guy moved to and had sufficient firsthand experience to discuss.
Man I sure wish we Americans could cut down on cars… oh wait… who cut funding to public transportation? hint he magically regrew his ear after being shot, wears more makeup than a painted whore in a novel, and loves to have “talks” with foreign leaders from Wakanda.

I don’t get why he thinks reducing car dependancy is incompatible with being a “car guy”: it’s always more fun to drive when there’s fewer people driving, and thays what reducing car dependancy achieves…

Also, car dependency leads to car companies focusing on the most boring cars to drive: crossovers and suvs without any offroad capability.
