I managed to reflow and reset the positioning of both a 80-pin and 100-pin B2B connector on some MNT RCORE* adapter boards that came misaligned from the fab in Shenzhen. @mntmn showed me how to do it last week and I did one then, and today I was able to fix two more boards and managed to do one of the harder ones that has an adapter on the reverse of the board thats in the way so you cant get full coverage on the hotplate

@liaizon @mntmn I have done this (replace such plastic connectors on MacBook boards).
It requires quite some experience and "sense of touch." Not easy at all. Among the hardest stuff I have done.
Very well done !

Did you, by any chance, suggest producing a laptop around ITX/ATX boards?
(Considering that the Pocket already puts the motherboard behind the display, instead of under the keyboard)

I get that they're mainly focused on the open hardware thing, but helping people downsize their desktops is also a noble cause (even if the battery life might suck).
@liaizon @mntmn This is very impressive! Crazy that you are able to fix the position of a component like that!
@josch @mntmn I really didn't think I was gonna be able to do it but lucie said just go for it and I didnt melt everything with the heat gun like I was worried I would!
