People often send me messages that begin with "QQ" which is supposed to stand for Quick Question; however, based on the questions that follow, I can only assume they think QQ stands for something like "Qomplicated Question" or "Qonfusing Question."

@Alice it was this experience that made me add a rule of etiquette to my business behaviour:

Never presume how much time or effort someone in another role requires to do their job. Often what appears simple to a patron is complex for an expert service provider.

@jay_chi Or the fact that their question is so short that it's therefore too vague and doesn't include enough detail to be able to answer appropriately which inevitably results in a thousand follow up questions just to be able to understand what they're asking in the first place.
