"What if I'm not strong or smart enough?"

You might not be, that's why you're trying to get better, the trick isn't being good at it to begin with, or you wouldn't need to do it at all.

"What if I do all the work and it doesn't matter?"

You aren't a magic being that isn't affected by things, if you are genuinely putting in the work, you will get results, it might not be as quick or perfect as you think, but that's fine, you can make adjustments, and one of those adjustments might just need to be to your expectations.

I'm talking to myself today, and y'all are getting caught on the ride.

@RickiTarr
To add to this, humans are pack animals. We evolved to work together. One person can't do everything because that is not in our DNA. We are not meant to be individuals.
@RickiTarr
Or my other answer to the devil is "At least I won't be spending eternity with Donald Trump."
@RickiTarr Any introspective question that starts with, "What if..." is feeding the flames of future regret and that, in and of itself, is a quagmire of self-doubt which fuels mindfuck stagnation.
Thanks for coming to my TedTalk!

@RickiTarr if you ever feel small or weak, maybe reflect on the impacts literal slime has had on the earth.

Blessed are the weak and the small. They create real lasting change

@RickiTarr @lisamelton Yup. And sometimes it isn't about you at all.

If something doesn't go the way you want despite the work and the dedication, it could be nothing to do with how good or smart you are. It could be invisible barriers or blocks that you have no control over.

Don't internalise that sh!t. There's enough people who want you to feel crap. Don't crap on yourself when it could be out of your control.

@RickiTarr This is also me talking to myself after 29 years of guitar. I can't shred even after decades of practice. Best I can do is pentatonics and pinch harmonics.
