If you’re in your car in traffic and you see people moving smoothly on bikes in a protected bike-lane, or a full bus zooming past you in a bus-only lane, sure you could be mad at them for moving faster than you, or you could be someone who understands geometry and knows that providing mobility choices that take less space makes getting around cities better for EVERYONE.

@BrentToderian Even worse, these people could all be in their cars ahead of you, making the traffic situation even worse for everyone.

@jsl @BrentToderian In Latvia, we allowed electric cars on bus lanes and gave them free street parking instead.

This way the worst pricks not only keep on driving cars and violating traffic rules, everybody else now also pays for that!

@richlv @BrentToderian That should only be allowed in countries that have more and better fully segregated cycling and walking infrastructure than the Netherlands (i.e. "Nope!")
