Images not loading on lemmy.zip? - Lemmy.World

Im a long time boost user and finally making the switch to lemmy. I have an account on lemmy.world and lemmy.zip. Im noticing that when Im logged into my lemmy.zip account, photo posts don’t load at all. It doesn’t matter if its SFW, NSFW, local or on another instance, they all just show up as black picture [https://imgur.com/YAtB5ke]. This does not happen when logged into lemmy.world. Any ideas?

They’re likely avif files. I hope it’s fixed soon, because it’s super annoying.

Already fixed in the newest version, and yeah, that was the culprit.

Which version? Still doing it for me on 1.0.29

Weird. 1.0.29 solved the issue for me for the first time since .zip switched to Avif.

See my other comment. I think it’s related to the load hq images setting. Can you see if you can replicate it?
