Government Accountability has been an incredible power. Their job has basically been to provide the numbers to demonstrate various forms of corruption for decades. They’re cool-headed, statistical, analytical, and nonpartisan.
GOP politicians of course find themselves on the pointy end of the results more often than Dems, which they claim is bias. But, of course, there’s another explanation…

I can’t emphasize this enough: Donald Trump handed over all government records to Elon Musk because they both wanted to sell off the government and the people it protects out of a dedication to their parallel systems of fraud.
Along the way, they leaned particularly hard on white supremacist objectives.
That is literally all DOGE was. A meme turned into white supremacist fraud.
They fell out for the same reason crime bosses usually fall out.
