I keep seeing articles about the latest Disney Live Action film saying "Who is this for?" and "Why did they make this?"

They made it because it won't lose them any money, and it let's them give less money to the animators who worked on their previous films.

They made it bad because it doesn't matter how bad it is.

Hell, the worse they make it the more people will talk about it, and the more people will watch it just to see what the controversy is about.

We win against Disney by not talking about what their films.

The fact that they don't have to pay royalties to special effects artists, and do do have to pay royalties to animators surely has nothing to do with it.
