Unfortunately, this goes for... well, just about everywhere, to be honest.

The gains of the "Green Revolution" were temporary from the start. Chemical fertilizers and tilling can only prop up the productivity of the soil they're wrecking for so long-- throw in the weather disruptions, supply chain issues, and everything else on top of that, and famines are inevitable.

Our entire approach to agriculture and distribution has to be overhauled.
