@arstechnica even your title for the article carries water for the fucking fascists harvesting data.

Do better.

@NosirrahSec Precisely my exact thoughts seeing the preview
@arstechnica "protect children". hah.

@arstechnica glad we have GrapheneOS set on doing everything they can to avoid these surveillance oriented laws.

If governments cared about kids they'd be more focused on parents and education, instead of moving towards deanonymizing every users on every internet connected device, while also continuing to buy user data from tech companies to further surveillance of their own citizens.

@arstechnica really need to make a browser extension that replaces “protects children” to “protects the regime”
@arstechnica Protect the children my fucking arse. What a shite headline. You know pretty well that’s a fucking lie
@arstechnica What a complete faff that was, coming out of the blue like that. It didn’t know me though I’ve been using Apple since before .mac days. Does it only do credit cards then, because it refused my debit card even though that is used in the Apple Store. Had to use driving licence in the end. Badly managed Apple on behalf of some dubious stuff coming out of the UK Home Office
@arstechnica if you want to protect children then arrest pedos. Age verification wil make everyone unsafe
