Matt RoundiPhone age verification doesn’t consider my Apple account created in 2009 to be old enough to trust, it doesn’t accept passport & I don’t have a credit card, so I’m now age-restricted 🤷♂️
Might’ve set up the account when I was <18 months old, can’t be too careful
Apple support online chat was a bit muddled but they then gave me a call almost right away, did my best to extract more than the generic responses from them, it sounds like a lot of angry people are complaining & Apple’s scrambling to fix some things, bit of a mess
Also: I was told that I can’t verify via age of account, no matter how old it is
(I assumed this was a regional thing but others in UK did get verified based on account age, so I’ve no idea what's going on)
