The average daily print circulation at 25 of the largest audited newspapers in the US fell by 12.5% in the year to the end of September 2025.

If local papers want to survive, they need to stop printing 2 day old wall street journal articles & stuff people have already seen online to uber-focus on *local* things.

I want esp to see *everything* going on in the city/county each week - all the sports (from schools, amateur leagues, college, and pro), plays, recitals & concerts, movies, workshops & classes, nonprofit events...all of it, so we can actually see what we can do.
